Kathmandu, August 18. A Virtual session is being organized on the topic of Strategic Leadership with joint collaboration of Global Women's Network and Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU). The session, conducted by Susan Mitchell, will cover extremely relevant and timely issues of strategic planning, board governance, online education, etc especially addressing the impacts of COVID-19.
The session scheduled to be held on August 26 virtually via zoom application will be interactive and include Q &A sessions as well. A familiar name in the credit union business, Susan is a vehement believer in making a difference. She is on the board for the Worldwide Foundation and is the founding chair of Global Women's Leadership Network. She has earned a repute of a successful entrepreneur. The 60 minute session welcomes all the interested participants irrespective of gender bias. Those willing to participate have to pre register names.
Statistics has it that Nepal has altogether 19 sister societies. In Asia-Pacific region there are approximately 23 hundred members in 40 sister societies. These societies work individually as well as collectively to mitigate poverty by helping develop entrepreneurship, self-employment and offering business development services.
